As a support worker, I provide assistance and care to individuals with various needs, helping them to achieve their goals by ensuring they feel safe, valued, and as independent as possible. Through my role, I promote independence, improve function, and ensure people with disabilities can participate fully in life.
At 18 years of age, I am new to this field, having only just stated with my current workplace. My role involves developing the responsibility to assist with personal care, transportation, household chores, and provide general physical and emotional support when needed.
As someone who is studying a degree in Occupational Therapy, I have a passion for helping others in finding and maintaining a sense of purpose, independence, and fulfilment, particularly when they are faced with challenges due to injury, illness, or disability. I have a strong sense of compassion and focus closely on fostering an environment of respect and connection by providing a safe and positive environment.
I believe that by helping others engage in meaningful activities that are both important to their well-being and quality of life, this can help individuals regain a sense of purpose and reach their full potential. I am both grateful and honoured to be part of this journey of helping others, and am committed to supporting them every step of the way in achieving their goals and enhancing their lives.

Support Worker Profile
Hi! My name is Stella and I am 22 years old. I work for Jupiter Supports and I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where clients feel comfortable and encouraged to achieve their goals.
I have been working with children and young people since the age of 16, beginning my journey as a dance teacher. Through teaching children for over 6 years, aged 18 months to 16 years, I discovered my passion for supporting and connecting with young people.
I have continued working with clients as an OSHC Educator, supporting and supervising children from Preschool to Year 6. These experiences strengthened my ability to provide engaging care, develop communication skills, patience, creativity, and build trusting relationships with children and families.
I completed my Bachelor of Psychology in February 2025 at the University of South Australia. My studies helped me develop a strong understanding of human behaviour, emotional wellbeing, communication, and person-centred support strategies.
Alongside my experience working with young people, I have also worked as a Bakery Worker for 5 years and obtained my DoFoodSafety Certificate. I am happy to assist with meal preparation and household tasks where needed.

ABOUT ME
My name is Daisy, and I am a 19-year-old second-year midwifery student with a strong interest in providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centred support. I chose to work in support roles because I genuinely enjoy helping people feel safe, heard, and supported in their everyday lives. I am currently studying midwifery, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and an understanding of how important dignity, trust, and emotional support are when caring for others. I am passionate about making a positive difference, no matter how big or small, and I feel grateful to be able to support people in a role that is both meaningful and rewarding. I look forward to working alongside my clients and providing care that is respectful, supportive, and tailored to their needs.

Support Worker – Jupiter SupportsMeet David
Hi, I’m David, I am 19 years old and am currently in my second year of completing a double degree in law and accounting. I have always had a passion for being able to help others, especially those who need it most. This ties in perfectly with my role as a support worker, as I have the privilege of my job being to help my clients progress and grow as individuals. I especially love the ability to form strong connections with not only my clients, but also their family’s, and enjoy working together to achieve a clients specific goal, no matter how big or small.
